Description
Wrangler MTR is optimized for the rear wheel and is best suited to dry and dusty through rocky and intermediate conditions where speeds are high and terrain is challenging, from aggressive trail riding to downhill competition. It is available in three constructions—Enduro, ElectricDrive, and Downhill—to suit gravity-focused mid- to long-travel MTBs and eMTBs.
An MX-inspired tread pattern, with tightly spaced blocks and in-block sipes, is engineered to deliver high traction while maintaining strong rolling efficiency. Goodyear Grip3 compound is soft yet durable, designed to maximize braking and cornering grip while improving wear life. For best system performance, Wrangler MTR is intended to be paired with Wrangler MTF on the front wheel.
Enduro // ElectricDrive // Downhill
Enduro-specific construction is supportive and lightweight, delivering control and stability in high-speed, high-load situations across the most demanding enduro race stages. ElectricDrive construction adds the protection and support required for long-travel, high-torque eMTBs. Downhill construction prioritizes extreme grip, extreme support, and maximum puncture protection; the Downhill casing is the most robust option in the range when reliability is the priority, and Grip3S compound provides the highest level of grip and control in severe off-road conditions.
